Oil, maintenance, maps and VAT.
Special Equipment
Paraplegic hand controls are available (for certain models only) at no extra cost in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Skukuza and Pretoria.
The vehicle must be returned to one of the above stations, 72 hour advance reservation essential, Baby seats are also available (for certain models only) from most branches at R300 per rental.
Terms of payment Sizwe recognizes charge cards such as American Express, Diners Club, Visa and MasterCard.
Driver’s licence
Renters must be in possession of a valid unendorsed driver’s licence. The minimum age for rental is 23 years when payment is made by Sizwe accepted credit card, Visa or MasterCard, and 21 years when payment is by Diners or Amex card.
It is a legal requirement in RSA to be in possession of your original driver’s licence at all times whilst driving a vehicle.

Personal service
While kilometers are always taken from Sizwe customer service centre to Sizwe customer service centre, we meet our customers personally at airports, railway stations or elsewhere. A nominal collection and delivery fee will be applied in the case of this service being required.
Weekend rentals
Payment of Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Loss Waiver covers 80% of the responsibility on weekend rentals.
No additional drivers will be permitted on weekend rentals countrywide. A weekend deposit of R5000 applies to all rentals.
Additional drivers
All drivers must be listed on the applicable rental agreement. There is a charge of R 250.00 for additional drivers. If an unlisted driver is involved in an accident, or theft of the vehicle, the renter will be liable for full damage / replacement costs.
Petrol
This is not included in our rates. Cars are delivered with a full tank of petrol and the customer is charged for refuelling upon termination of rental.

Fuel consumption is gauged from customer service centre to customer service centre.
Over border rentals
Any renter wishing to enter Namibia/Lesotho/Botswana must be in possession of a Letter of Authority from Sizwe, obtainable from the rental agent at time of rental.
Note: For rentals originating in the Republic and driven into Namibia and Botswana, conditions of CDW and
TLW of these countries will apply.

One-way rentals
One-way rentals are available between Sizwe Stations in the Republic of South Africa and are subject to charge.
Please enquire at the rental counter or reservations.
Vehicles may be no longer be taken into Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
Value added tax
All charges reflected on rates brochure are inclusive of VAT.

Vehicles must be returned to any branch within South Africa or Namibia however, vehicles terminating in Namibia are subject to the standard one way drop-off fee.
Delivery and collection charges
A delivery and collection fee will be charged within a 20km radius of the closest Sizwe office:
During office hours R250 After hours, Public Holidays, Weekends R500.
Thereafter, on quotation for deliveries in excess of 25km, R7,98 per km.

Minimum rates charge
Rates are calculated for a minimum period of 24 hours from time of pick-up to time of drop-off.
